Please note that effective August 1, 2011, all CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology programs are required to use of the CST exam for reporting program outcomes. For cohorts (classes) completing on or after August 1, 2011, the CST exam will be the only approved outcomes assessment exam for reporting program outcomes on the ARC/STSA Annual Report. As a result, the PAE cannot be used for collecting or reporting program outcomes for any cohorts (classes) completing on or after August 1, 2011.
